Evaluation of the Effectiveness of An Integrated Program to Reduce Maternal and Child Malnutrition in Indonesia

In a collaboration with the University of Sidney, the University of Indonesia’s Health Research Center, SEAMEO-REFCON, and the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, Reconstra conducted research to evaluate the impact of nutritional interventions and nutrition packages for children, as well as their growth and nutritional status, compared to those in other areas which have a routine integrated village health post (Posyandu) service.

This project took place in Sidoarjo and Malang, East Java, from 2014 to 2017, through funding support from the Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition (GAIN).
