Review of Access to Health Care for Penerima Bantuan Iuran (PBI) Under Jaminan Kesehatan Nasional (JKN)
MAHKOTA / TNP2K appointed Reconstra in collecting data to identify the behavior of Healthy Indonesia Card (KIS) holders in health facilities, as well as the challenges for the Penerima Bantuan Iuran (PBI) in accessing the nearest health service. This project was expected to assess the understanding of both PBI and KIS cardholders about the benefits after the implementation and distribution of KIS had lasted two years.
This survey took place in North Sumatra, Bangka Belitung, West Java, Central Kalimantan, South Sulawesi, and North Maluku in June-July 2016. Furthermore, from each province, two districts were selected based on the facility index (from PODES data). Reconstra completed data collection from 12 districts in two weeks. There were 721 respondents from a total of 12 districts.
