Aggregate Analysis for Generasi Sehat Program
Executive Summary
The Biostatistics Consultant for Aggregate Analysis project supports Indonesia’s national precision medicine agenda under the Biomedical and Genome Science Initiative (BGSI), launched by Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia in 2022. Building on the successful recruitment of 10,000 participants, the initiative has expanded through the Generasi Sehat Program, which collects genomic, phenotypic, and environmental data from the general population across Indonesia. This marks a strategic step toward advancing evidence-based healthcare, genomic research, and targeted health policy.
The objective of this project is to provide high-level biostatistical expertise to ensure that complex population-scale data are analyzed accurately, ethically, and scientifically. The assignment will develop validated statistical analysis plans, strengthen descriptive and inferential analytics, conduct quality assurance, and support interpretation of findings for policy and research use.
As the key implementing partner, Reconstra will play a central role in delivering this consultancy by mobilizing expert biostatistical resources, coordinating technical execution, mentoring internal teams, and ensuring all outputs meet international scientific standards. Reconstra’s leadership will be critical in transforming raw health and genomic data into actionable insights for national decision-makers.
The project is expected to strengthen Indonesia’s precision medicine ecosystem, improve capacity in large-scale genomic analytics, and contribute to future scientific publications and policy reforms. Key collaborators include Balai Besar Biomedis dan Genomika Kesehatan, the BGSI management team, internal data analysts, bioinformatics specialists, and the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia. The implementation timeline is 75 days, scheduled for October to November 2025.
