As one of the leading biostatistical experts, Dr. Iwan Ariawan is a highly accomplished Medical Doctor and Epidemiologist with over 30 years of research leadership as a director, biostatistics consultant, and expert advisor to the World Bank, WHO, UNICEF, and the Indonesian Ministry of Health. Specializes in designing, managing, and executing large-scale national health surveys, nutrition assessments, and stunting intervention programs. Dr. Ariawan has also consulted for the Ministry of Health for several years and remains active as a senior lecturer at the Faculty of Public Health, Universitas Indonesia. He was one of the core team of epidemiological experts supporting the government of Indonesia during the COVID-19 pandemic.  Demonstrates expert technical command of anthropometric study design and data quality monitoring, notably leading data quality audits (DQA) of child (U-5) height/weight measurement systems and serving as Lead of the Expert Team for consecutive Indonesian Nutritional Status Surveys (SSGI).
